Stone West (Ventura)

Stone West (Ventura)

Quartzites:

I don't think we want the next two, but its what they have on the lot in lighter colors right now (quartzite and then granite below it)

I forget exactly what each of these is thought they are quartzites or ganites, I think in general they are too fancy for the space, but fun to look at :)

Picture below is more to show the red stone behind the fancier stone in front, could be an interesting look and possibly not too fancy, unfortunately the pictures isn't great. I'm thinking it is a quartzite, but it is definitely one of the stones we are considering easy maintenance.

Soapstones:
(darker spots have been oiled, which we'd probably want to do if we were to go that route so more true to the look we'd end up with)

Quartzites:

may be hard to tell, but the below has hints of green

Samples in the House

Below are pictures of various samples as they appear in the kitchen when placed next to each other.  The key thing that this does not allow you to do hardly at all is to imagine the materials filling the whole kitchen.

The first few pictures are just with a single drawer, I then realized they really come out better when you have a better sense of the full cabinetry so I changed angles.

There are 5 main counter top materials pictured, paired with various floors:
3 soapstsone
1 black granite
1 white quartzite
plus ceasarstone samples in a couple other pictures

The floor samples are either real hardwood flooring or the porcelain tile made to look like wood
